Why Do I Have Wind Damage?

When a roofing company uses too much pressure on a nail gun, the nails “blow through” the shingle and it is not properly affixed. If a roofer hand nails, their installers may short a strip of shingle and not use as many nails as they should. All of these improper installation techniques contribute to wind damage.
