That depends on how many windows we’re replacing. An average home takes about two days. We know when we provide your proposal how many days we need to be in and out of your home and will let you know. Keep in mind that the lead time varies from one to three months depending on the custom window and manufacturer you choose.
What is Low-E Glass?
You may have noticed that windows today have something called Low-E glass. That term is actually a misnomer as the glass itself isn’t special. Low-E is a type of coating. In order for a window to meet energy efficient standards, it must have the Low-E coating. Low-E offers many benefits including UV protection for your furniture and carpets.
Can I Change Window Styles?
Yes! We love when homeowners choose windows that actually suit their home and needs rather than what they already have. Most builders install single hung windows because they are the least expensive. However, different windows styles have various benefits. Sometimes what makes the most sense is a few different styles like double hung and picture windows together or casement and sliding windows.
